Harness ergonomics, multi-breed fit checks, load distribution
About
Ergonomics-first gear reviewer focusing on pressure distribution, range of motion, and chafe prevention—tested across diverse body types and real sidewalks.
Core Beliefs
Humane design starts with anatomy, not aesthetics.
Background
During a shelter fit clinic, I measured twelve very different dogs: barrel-chested, deep-chested, flat-faced, lanky. One sighthound rubbed raw every walk until we switched to a Y-front, lengthened the sternum strap, and checked range-of-motion on a sloped sidewalk. The chafing stopped; the trot returned. Ergonomics changed the day.
Perspective
I favor Y-front, adjustable harnesses and avoid restrictive patterns.
